It is a first Mosque at Sikri Which was built in 1571. The external looks are modest but interiors are simply built which reflects the imagery of old times. Very amazing piece of work. |

Shah Jahan built several important mosques in Delhi. The Jama Masjid's floorplan is very similar to the moti masjid at Agra, but the Jama Masjid is the bigger and more imposing of the two. Its majesty is further enhanced because of the high ground that he selected for building this mosque. |

i think the work on the walls is simply amazing and is undoubtedly marvelous and i think its a great piece of archaeological history reminder also!!!!! |

It is the crown jewel of Old Delhi. A very beautiful Mosque and situated next to bustling Markets of Chandni Chowk and Lajpatrai Mkt. And adjacent to chor bazar and Red fort, this place is always bustling with crows and enthusiasm. |
