Black Taj Mahal

How many of you know the story of the black Taj Mahal? People say that Shah Jahan had it made for himself from black stones called "sangemarmar". People tried and tried but they never found it.

Is it also situated in Agra? I have heard this folklore, but never visited such a place.

Yes it is in Agra. Recently it was again included in the List of Wonders of the World. I have just heard one story which is he build this for her love and he buried her there.

Is black Taj Mahal different from the seventh wonder of the world The White Taj Mahal?
I think there is some confusion going around in here.

Ya i know the story of Taj Mahal actually shah jahan made white taj mahal for his wife and he decided to make same taj mahal with black marble for him he started it but then soon he died and it remains there only. it is on the other side of river opposite to taj mahal and you can see only its small walls and nothing else.

The black Taj Mahal is not a myth but unfortunately it was never completed as Shah Jahan soon met his end and his proposal remained an idea that never got completed.

Not everyone has heard of the black Taj Mahal but if you visit Agra,this monument will surely not go unnoticed.
