The people of this place are mostly tribal and are residents of diffrerent islands consisted of andaman and nicobar, their are a total of 570 islands in this place.

the mmajor ppl are from bengal and calcutta and after them its ppl from tamil nadu and madras who are residing n andaman right now.. the major languages spoken are bengali and tamil and all ppl seem to know both tjhese languages. also as a commmon medium hindi is also favoured.

People those who speak tamil, hindi and other languages are settled in the town areas. But mostly tribes are found here. They have their own tradition and most of them have got no connection with the outside world.

Such places are the best examples of real India far from the city life which is nothing but full of mal practices and pollution.

I have done a little bit research about them and have came to know that majority of the people are from india region and tribal people are now very less in number after the deadly tsunami disaster.

most of the people there are outsiders not nativly from A&N Isles. The tribals are the only natives and they have been pushed to very less living areawhich is frequented by floods and Malaria.

The place is an amalgamation of various smaller islands and as such if you ventured to the interiors you would see various tribes living in harmony. The mainland is filled with tourists and Indians.

I don't think that most of the people in this region are tribal. there are tribal people but majority of the people are modern and they do use modern facilities available in today world.

There are tribal people in this region but most of the them are willing to become modern and i think it would really be a bad thing as our past (tribal) would come to an end.

due to the tourism thats developping there the proximities of the tribals to modern ppl is great and this makes the tribal ppl learn our ways and change their ways ... this is actually affecting them !!!
