Economically the land of this place is very rich in mineral and ores.most of the land of this place about 48000 hectraes is under the cultivation.

very true... they are agriculturally very rich.. but still the cost of living in A & N is very low. we can have a good lining if our monthly earning is aroud 4500 there... i experienced this wjhile i was there...

yes, the land of the place is really fertile and is very suitable for minerals and most of the native people and in this production only and they are quite satisfied with their earnings!!!!!

Dude but i heard a different story that the cost of living will be high there. Water scarcity problem prevails and it is too costly to buy water in cans or packets.

A place in water is supposed to be rich mostly. agriculture is the primary source of income on in this state and majority of the people practice it.

Water is there but it is saline and so has to be filtered and treated before consumption. Also lack of direct access to main land is a problem.

I recently red that people from A n N island are basically involved in agriculture and it is there main source of income. Land is fertile because of the water aside it.

But the cheif occupation of People there is fishing.

The Andaman and Nicober Islands are luckily still very clean nad off human interference. As such tourists flock to the place most of the year. this helps bring in money into the local economy. They also depend on fishing and farming.

Main source of this island economy is from tourist and sea food business and I have seen some good wealthy people there.
