Education?

I would like to know that is education given that much importance here. As i have not heard any good institutes names over here. I mean isn't education is of much importance here.

It is a far flung state with poor infrastructure. You just cant expect it to be in races of IITs. I mean with a lots of earthquakes and storms all the time and poor inaccessability, its not possible to make advanced educational institutes there.

Eduction right now is not in a good condition there. People are mainly trying to fulfill there bare necessity and once it is done I am sure that there would be a scope for eduction right here.

Better leave Andamans and Nicopar as close to nature and keep the materialistic development away from there.

Of course the place does have basic secondary and higher education,but if you are looking for B-schools and high flier colleges,then this is the wroong place.

There are not much education facilities available in this region and in terms of education it is really backward.
Majority of the people in this region are mainly focused on earn living and that's all.

Education plays a important role in every part of the world but people here are educationally backward and there are not much institute to promote education in this region.

there are colleges in andaman too.. there is a nehru college of arts and science.. also there are schools for secondary education.. on;y if you need to do better studies in better colleges then you would ve to come out of these islands else they are self sufficient !!!

There are colleges and schools but the quality of eduction there is not so great and people who want to study in a good manner need to come to India to have a better eduction.
