This is the state with largest number of cinema halls in India. Around 3000 halls are here and the state produces more than 200 movies in a year.

You people are right. Though they produce many movies in a year, but only few outside the state come to know about it. So producers are reluctant to produce high budget films since it will not yield the results.

The state has a great film industry that is quite popular. In fact, they provide a record number of films apart from churning out award winning vernacular films.
