The most developed city in the state is Guwahati. Also the venue for this year's Natinoal Games. The city is developed at par with its couterparts in other parts of the country. Reverse industrialisation has resulted in lower growth of the city in recent years.

It is a well known tourist place but now people dont like to visit this place any more. I had been tto Guwahati and i would say that it is really good for vocations for just once. It is good but it was not that much fun place to visit.
