I think still painting is give to other people as a gift as most of the people do not make it now but they purchase it to gift it to other people.

I didn't knew that people from Assam are that much good at Painting. I did a little search on google about this but i did not found any good information regarding this but anyways i would search again. I have heard that Assam is popular for many other thing bu painting is new to me.
