Mr. Venkatappa was born in 1887 to a family of painters. His works that include a scenic view of the lake at Ooty, Niligiri Mountains at Kodaikanal, sunrise at Ooty, etc. are displayed on the ground floor. First floor displays works of present artists like M.F. Hussain, Rekha Rao, N.S. Bendre, etc. and exquisite woodcarvings of C.P. Rajaram. The second floor is dedicated solely to K.K. Hebbar.
