Default Majority of Population?

I have heard that majority of the population here are youth (unmarried) who have came here from different part of the world for there employment in IT sector. Is this a true fact about it.

could be true... there are it companies here .. and graduates who are youg .. very young ( fresh from college ) work here... so there is evey possibility for this to happen !!

This is not completely true. Ofcourse there are many IT professionals in the age group 20-30 but Bangalore has an equal count of residents who have been living there when the IT boom did not exist. The city wears more of a cosmopolitan look.

majority of the population is young in this region and this is because there are many companies for whom these youngster are working.
