I have heard that crime rate in Bihar is very much high and people who are living here are living in cloud of fear. The crime rate here is very much high and no person from other part of the country can live here peacefully. Is this true?

Bihar itself is not that much a criminal state but as because of the poverty in this region low earning people are forced to do these kind of criminal activities.

Crime is always a result of some circumstances and those circumstances cannot justify the crime. The crime in Bihar is the result of poor and corrupt governance for the last 3 decades. And the people of the state are to be equally blamed for this. Why do they don't vote out the criminals from the system

Crime rate is not that much high as compared to MP but as compared to other peaceful states such as Haryana it has a high crime rate and more over police in this state is also not doing that much to control crime which is the biggest drop back for normal people and biggest positive point for criminals to do more crimes.

The new government (i mean mayawati) has changed a lot of things for this state. If you would see the presently monthly crime rates you would see a straight decline in the crime rate charts. So i hope MP would be a lot more safe place to be in and i hope something similar for Bihar too.
