This place is one of the best places where one can find the excellance of sculptures. The carvings would be great to see. They statues were built by Pallava kings who ruled many hundred years ago. It is one of the hot tourist spots in Chennai.

yes dude. i have visited it once.also we have got kovalam beach very near to it. I think this is a cool place to hang out. The mountains surrounded, the sea with the seashore temple with lots of statues that speaks volumes about culture is awesome.

I have visited the place once but cant remember it properly. Just a faint glimpse cause I was very small at that time.

I remember that when I was about 14 years old we visited Chennai and my mom purchased some sarees from Mahabalipuram or somewhere near that place.

it must ve been kanchipuram !! the syllables sound similar dony they umesh !! ... cool man... kanchipuram is one of the best places for silk sarees and they are the best !!
