Yes this is a fact that Delhi have a high % of pollution but it has rapidly decreased since the CNG has been introduced in Delhi and majority of the public transport are using it as fuel.

Default Pollution

Pollution in Delhi has decreased somewhat after the CNG revolution and construction of flyovers in city. Metro has also helped in decreasing the air pollution, as people prefer to travel in metro as compare to their own vehicles.

The pollution levels in the city had gone on to be alarming before a few years. City officials have done a lot to turn things around.

Now a days pollution levels are very much less and this is because of the new alternative fuel option introduced by the government. I am sure that this level would decrease in near future.
