Vasco-da-Gama is a very beautiful town and was originally called Sambhaji. It was attractive geometrically planned with well layout. It is popularly known as Vasco as its short name.

I have seen this place few years ago but now this place is captured by military alliances. The movie JOSH was also shooted here. Its very beautiful and attractive place.

Vasco is a very nice place in goa to visit. the markets are full of attractions for the visitors and growing culture of traditional goods.

yes, i think vasco daca ma is really a great place and , moreover i think each and every place in goa is nice and Vasco-da-Gama is a very beautiful town, and nature lovers will;l really enjoy the place!!!

vasco da cama is raelly a nice and a beautiful place...its like heaven on earthj and i would advice everybody, whom so ever get to visit goa, must go and visit vasco da ma for sure!!!! because his trip would be incomplete without it.........

Ours first place to be visited in Goa was Vasco only as we had got down from ours train at Vasco station. Beautiful place with rich history. highly reccomended and not to be missed at all.

Actually Vasco is pretty far from the main city,but you have to stop here if you choose to reach Goa by train as this is where the main train station is for this beach destination.
