Where in Goa..

I am going to Cavelossim in December over the xmas period. I have heard it is pretty quiet and am a little concerned. Me and my partner do like to keep busy on holiday so staying in the hotel bar every night probably isnt for us. can anyone recommend anything to do in the evenings?
Also is there any markets or shops near to the resort?

Yes there are shopping areas next to the resort. You could choose to visit other parts of Goa during the day and come back in the late evenings and relax and unwind at the resort.
