12-13 on city........and 18 on highways.........with AC......... mine is a 1.5 though.......a 1.6 is bound to give a little less with DOHC instead of SOHC.
18 on highways with max. speed of 85 with AC.....even i was surprised with the 18 i got.....but i calculated it thrice....and somehow its correct!!!!!!!! :P Isnt that cooool ??

Yours is Petrol model or Diesel model. I have heard that hyundai Diesel model is very fuel efficient and smooth.

Looks like you have a very good car. My Accent CRDi does not gives more then 16 on highway and in city i get somewhere near 11-12. I think i would talk about this thing with service people this time when i go for servicing.

Well diesel versions are always fuel efficient as diesel itself is cheap and more over the diesel cars give more mileage which makes them cheap. As of the diesel accent mileage i think it gives some where near 15- 18 kmpl on highway.

One of my friend have Hyundai Accent and he is getting 20 kmpl on highway but in the city it is almost half as he is getting around 13-14 kmpl but remember if you keep your car in 70-100 kmph on highway it would surely give a very good average.

Your friend is getting great average. Like my dad is getting around 11-12 kmpl at the most no matter is he drives it on high way or in city. He would not get any more then this.
