Hi Friends!

Sundernagar is the beautiful city in himachal pradesh. It is a place very close to the nature.

Places to Visit
1. Lake Reservoir - It is the reservoir of the BSL Project. Lies at the heart of the town and is blessed with cool breeze with a panoramic view overlooking the mighty himalayas lies on the national highway 22 (Chandigarh - Manali).
2.Mahamaya Temple - Located on top of a hill , offers a panoramic view of the city and is one of the most sacred places around.
3.Rewalsar - About 30 km from sundernagar, its a small tibetian settlement with a beautiful lake in between. It has a lot of tiobetian temples , a small zoo , and boating facilities at the lake.
Besides, there are a lot of temples and small hill resorts around which are also worth a visit.

Trivia

Sunder Nagar is also a place in New Delhi[2].

Parts of movie Kareeb starring Booby Deol and Neha were shot at a place near Sunder Nagar called Rewalser.

Parts of movie Border were also shot near Sunder Nagar at Behna on Gagal Road

I have not been to Sundernagar,but it sounds really nice. Could someone throw more light about the place.
