Default Shillong
Shillong is the capital of the state and also known as" the Scotland of the East" , It is situated at the altitude of 1496 meters The area is surrounded by pine trees and there are several good walks in the area.

Default Cherrapunji
It is 58 kms from Shillong, until recently it was the wettest place on Earth with annual rainfall of 1150 cm, Near Cherrapunji lies the 4.5 kms long cave of Krem Mawmluh

Default Mawsynram
It is 55 kms from Shillong. Mawjymbuin caves is the attraction of this place & it is the wettest place on earth and there are some hot water springs at JAINTIA HILLS

It is the capital of Meghalaya and is 2 hours drive from Guwahati, Assam - the nearest main town in the noth East. The 2 hour road journey is through the curvy mountains and at times one call feel butterflies in the stomach while watching out of the windows.
