Mostly there are agents in various cities who arrange trips to Amarnath Jee. I would suggest you to visits them and ask them further details. But i am sure about one thing trip is not going to be less then 10,000.

We are a group of students who have gone to darshan once to Amarnath jee. It costed about 5thousand rupees to us. We went their by private bus and we did whole journey by walking. Although you can also do it on a pony but that increases the cost many folds. Food is not a problem as it is all free of cost langars there.

Amarnath je is the one of most difficult pilgrimage. For the people above 35 years they must book the helly pad tickets before going there and must book the return tickets also.cost will not be more if you will go by helly pad rather there will not be risky.Helly pad will cost around 2800 one side.and if you prefer to go on horses it will cost around 1800....

Once there, you could choose to hire agents who will help organise everything, but they are overpriced and you need to bargain. You could eat at the langars and even help there and you may choose to complete your journey via public transport, walking or taking horses on rent.
