well you can have all the fun here if you want to. There are a lot of places worth visiting with your gf like the science city and there is also a thee park but i forgot its name. college street is another such place.

Yes Calcutta have every mean of modern entertainment like cinemas etc. I have heard and read a lot of Calcutta about the amazing places it have like some of the oldest universities in India.
