I wanted to know that what is the best place in Calcutta to visit. I have read a lot about Calcutta in books and would like to visit this site in December. So can any one suggest me any good place.

The city is huge, so depends how long your vacation is. You should take a look at the Victoria Memorial, The Indian Musuem and the main railway station, called Howrah and also go for a boat ride on the Ganges.
