The whole idea of re-releasing the movie Naya Daur in colour is to attract younger generation to watch the movie
Vyjanthimala was brought in to play the lead character in the movie, surely she did justice to her role and now Naya Daur is considered one of the gems of bollywood.

"OLD IS GOLD" I think "Naya Daur" in color is good idea but I like it in black and white. Dilip Kumar was splendid in it. Lovely movie to watch!!

Well there had been a lot of remaking of some previous successful movies and I don't know that would they keep the same story or change it but i am sure about one thing it is not gonna be as big as the original movie.

Sometimes adding color to the life adds value to the life. Although having a eastmancolor version of Naya Daur did not change much but the same treatment for Mughal-e-azam was fantastic.

Friends, remaking of films is good provided that the original subject is not deformed in any ways. If done in a proper way, remaking can add new colors and dimensions to the original one.

Concept of remaking films is good if we can do it proper way .For this, we must make sure that the story remains same as before. Also roles should be carefully allotted to only eligible actors and actress.
