ppl here speak tamil .. this is the most ancient dravidian language and there are proofs proving sanskrit was actually derived from primitive tamil. im a tamilian and i love this language...

This language is the hardest to understand. They speak it really fast and you are not able to catch a single word even if you know a thing or to about it mostly because of the asccent they use.

lol.. It may be because people here in various districts speak the language with various accent. Even people from south india will not understand the tamil spoken by any chennaitian and vice-versa.

Tamil language has got many words and is difficult to master it. But once done it is the most elegant language and it is unique. Before 3000 years, these people have found grammar which is astounding. They are great.

One of the oldest languages with roots in Sanskrit and ancient Dravidian languages, tamil has rich heritage.

true... tamil language is a great one to learn.. it is a hard one though.. but if you know tamil you ll find it easy to speak anyothr language in the south as many have their roots in tamil syallables
