How real are reality shows

It would be interesting to know if someone insider puts the real picture out for people. Its unbelivable that Indian TV producers will go by real public votes etc, undoubtedly they manipulate votes to create more TRP.

They like to cut a lot of stuff that happen in reality tv shows to make the episodes much more interesting and create more drama. Reality TV Shows are real to some extent, but its not ALL real.

I feel the reality shows are rigged. At times there is also manipulation to generate controversies which in turn would help to soar the ratings of the show. They would anything to generate revenue.

the indian shows telecast in india are not real man... not every bit is REAL !! but those shot abroad are very true buddy !! i had a cousin of mine doing it in fear factor ! and he ate moths for real though he couldn do it fast !!
